Q. What is Trials Evolution?


A. Trials Evolution is survival of the fastest! Trials Evolution is a physics-based motorcycle racing game for Xbox Live Arcade.

Trials Evolution, from Helsinki-based RedLynx, a Ubisoft Studio, is on every front the next dimension of the smash-hit, award-winning Trials HD. Bust out of the warehouse into an outdoor world of night and day, curving drive lines, and spectacular scenery. Compete to dominate the racing leader boards. Multiplayer comes alive, in your living room or on Xbox LIVE, with up to 4 players on Supercross and Trials tracks. Build your own tracks with the included editor or download those of any other player from the new Track Central. 



Q. Where/When can I get Trials Evolution?


A. Trials Evolution has only been announced for release on Xbox Live Arcade on April 18th, 2012 as part of Arcade NEXT. It will become available at the Xbox Live Marketplace



Q. Is Trials Evolution coming to PC/PS3/Wii/Mac/iOS/Android?


A. Trials Evolution has only been announced for Xbox Live Arcade.



Q. Why isn’t there a Trials Evolution demo?


A. All XBLA games launch with a trial version available. A demo/trial of Trials Evolution will be available on April 18th, 2012.



Q. How much will Trials Evolution cost?


A. Trials Evolution will cost 1200 Microsoft Points, or $15USD.



Q. Will Trials Evolution really have 400 Gamerscore and 20 Achievements?


A. Yes it is! We are pleased to be the first game on XBLA to utilize the increase in available gamerscore.



Q. Will there be Avatar Items/Avatar Awards available?


A. Trials Evolution Avatar Items are already available through the XBL Marketplace, Avatar Awards are also available for completing in-game feats.



Q. Does owning Trials HD unlock extras in Trials Evolution?


Not exactly, owning Trials HD in itself doesn’t unlock items in Trials Evolution, but earning certain achievements in Trials HD will unlock items in Trials Evolution.



Q. How many tracks are in Trials Evolution?


A. Trials Evolution downloads with 60 Trials tracks, 12 Skill Games, and 15 Supercross tracks, but there will be a virtually limitless amount of tracks available from the community from Track Central.



Q. What is Track Central?


A. Track Central is the Trials Evolution hub for track sharing. You can now upload tracks directly to Track Central and share your Editor creations with anyone in the world, regardless of your XBL Friend status. You can upload, download, rate, and search for tracks based on keywords such as creator name, difficulty, game mode, and more.



Q. I heard (insert rumor) about Trials Evolution’s Pro Editor, can I (insert rumor)?


A. There are over 30 tutorials being released for Trials Evolution’s Editor, viewable at that go over everything you need to know to start building. We expect the community to do things with the editor that we don’t expect, so, if you want to do something not showcased in a video, please experiment.



Q. How can I ask the Developers or Community Members a question?


A. By joining the RedLynx forum at you can chat with members of our community and possibly the developers of Trials Evolution as well as all other RedLynx titles. The devs may not always answer but that’s because they have to continue making games for us to play.



Q. Was that really a Limbo and/or Splosion Man styled track/skill game?


A. Yes it was. Those games were featured along with Trials HD on the XBL Triple Pack, a disc-based version of the 3 XBLA titles. As such, and because we loved Limbo and Splosion Man, we included an homage to both in Trials Evolution. We received permission from Playdead and Twisted Pixel studios to include the homages to their games. Q. Will it be possible to play with the developers of Trials Evolution?


A. It’s always possible; most of us at RedLynx have our XBL GTs linked to our forum accounts, so it isn’t hard to send us friend requests.
